Akoya Management API v2 released (August 15, 2024)

We’re excited to announce the v2 release of Management API!

In this release, we simplify the data provider subscription process with automation. When you create an app, we will automatically subscribe you to all providers that support your app’s products. You’ll no longer need to request a subscription to a provider after app creation. We’re also updating our app creation endpoint to meet the register DCR (Dynamic Client Registration) and FDX endpoint specifications. This will allow easier integration for recipients who already leverage the DCR or FDX specifications.

With this release, Management API v1 will be deprecated with the following changes in behavior:

• The API will auto-subscribe any new apps you create to all providers that support the Akoya products the new apps use.

• The create or add subscriptions endpoint will be retired.

• When new providers are added to the network, all apps, including those created with v1, will be automatically subscribed to those new providers.

• When v1 is sunset, apps will be automatically subscribed to providers that support the app’s requested products.
